Qualicare Homecare BC is seeking a compassionate Italian-speaking Health Care Aide / Caregiver to support a client in North Vancouver (or someone willing to commute). The client is being discharged from hospital and requires personal care and companionship, as family support is limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Mobility assistance and transportation
  • Shopping, errands, and outings
  • Following care plans and completing documentation
Qualifications

  • Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurses/nursing students welcome)
  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Fluent in Italian
  • Ability to travel within Greater Vancouver
  • Smartphone with internet access
