Job Summary
We are seeking a Companion/Caregiver to support a 29-year-old male client with autism. This role is less about providing hands-on care and more about offering companionship and gentle supervision to ensure his safety and well-being.
Our client is very independent but occasionally needs guidance to avoid situations such as boarding the wrong bus or overspending at restaurants. He is also a passionate hockey fan and enjoys going out 3–5 evenings per week, typically between 5:00 pm and midnight.
We are looking for a male caregiver of a similar age who can not only keep an eye out for him but also build a genuine friendship.

Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and supervision during outings
- Accompany client on errands and activities (e.g., dining out, attending hockey games)
- Assist with mobility and safe transportation
- Follow individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting
Qualifications
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent an asset but not required (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student also considered)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to travel within the Greater Vancouver Area
- Reliable access to a mobile phone and internet connection
