Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Care Pro include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides conversation and companionship to clients
- Comfortable providing personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming and dishes
- Assists with transportation for medical appointments, shopping, errands, and outings
- Transfer assistance and fall prevention, as needed
- Maintains comfortable and safe living environment
- Participates in training and professional development opportunities to develop and enhance skills
Qualifications
- Resident of Chester, Delaware or Montgomery Counties
- Kind, caring and compassionate
- At least 2 years of experience providing in-home care to seniors or other home-bound persons
- Dependable and punctual
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- CNA applicants welcome!
