REGISTERED NURSE (RN PRN) PER DIEM

Qualicare is looking to hire an awesome per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to be responsible for the care and case management of our beloved Clients and ensure the highest level of quality care, and that wants to be a part of a GREAT TEAM!
Work part time or full time.
This position is remote, but will require a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and a reliable personal automobile for local travel to provide care to clients in the Frisco and Plano, Texas areas.
We offer not only geriatric care, but we also offer Hospice, Palliative, discharge to home, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, and also concierge medical care.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a home health or an aging population setting, be knowledgeable in geriatric care, and possess strong clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
● Provide direct patient care to a diverse range of patients
● Administer medications, treatments, and other medical interventions as ordered by physicians
● Monitor and record vital signs, medical records, and catheter care
● Perform routine procedures, such as gastric lavage, and operate medical equipment, including ventilators
● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
● Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families on disease processes and treatment options
● Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care
● Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care
Skills:
● Experience caring for seniors
● Knowledge of geriatric and neonatal care
● Strong would care knowledge
● Ability to administer medications and perform catheter care
● Familiarity with medical records and vital signs
● Experience with gastric lavage and other medical procedures
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
● Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the organization
Qualifications:
● Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
● Minimum one year experience in a home healthcare setting
● One-year experience in geriatric care, preferred
● Ability to supervise, guide and develop skills and performance of service personnel
● Ability to exercise excellent independent judgment
Extra Points:
● One-year experience in Hospice care
● One-year experience in Palliative care
● One-year experience in Pediatric health care
● One-year experience in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care
● Proficiency in operating medical equipment, preferably including peritoneal dialysis machines and neonatal ventilators
● Ability to exercise excellent independent judgment
